What kind of wording should I use for a sports-themed thank you card for my 1 year-old’s birthday party?
i really like the earlier poster’s suggestions.
here are a few more :
- swimming — “we’re still wading in your love & affection / wading through your wonderful gifts/thoughts”
- badminton/tennis — “what a racket we made together”
- football/soccer —- “can’t wait to kick-start the next year”
- blind man’s buff —- “the party wouldn’t have been the same without you”
- darts — “right on target” — this will be for someone who’s gift you really appreciate.
- shooting — “what a shoot-out” / “had a blast”
depending on the sport you’ve chosen, cut the card in that shape – eg. a swimming pool / racket / ball being kicked / blindfolded child ….
or scan thru old magazines/ sports mags & cut out the desired pictures & glue – this will make each card unique & you’ll have plenty of sports to include.
you can even cut each card separately in the shape of the gift you received from them – that would make it even more personal.
